Jenny is an advocate for employees facing issues related to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in the workplace based on unlawful reasons, including an employee’s gender, race, disability, religion, age, need for medical leave, or for blowing the whistle on illegal practices. Jenny also aids employees with legal disputes surrounding wage and hour issues, defamation, and contract disputes. In addition, Jenny has experience defending employees from non-compete and trade secret claims.
Jenny volunteers with Tubman’s Pro Bono Safety Project providing representation to low-income domestic violence victims seeking civil Orders for Protection, as well as the Pro Se Project of the U.S. District Court for Minnesota & the Federal Bar Association, providing pro bono legal advice to pro se litigants in federal court.
Jenny obtained her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. While there, she provided legal services to seniors with problems related to long-term care and financial abuse and exploitation, competed in oral advocacy competitions, and served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Francis J. Connolly of the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
