Kirby is a first-generation attorney who personally experienced discrimination throughout his life. These experiences shaped him into an empathetic ally who represents employees in circumstances involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and failure to pay earned wages.
Kirby obtained his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. During law school, Kirby was a law clerk at various law firms and was notably a clerk at the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office. After graduating from law school, Kirby was a law clerk to the Hon. Viet-Hanh Winchell in Washington County, Minnesota.
